Frequently Asked Questions

PR300 Power and Energy Meter

Questions

1.  What is the demand measurement function?
2.  Can the PR300's triple displays be assigned to any measurement element?

Answers

1. What is the demand measurement function?
The PR300's demand measurement function measures average power or average current within a specified time limit. The maximum value during the demand measurement period can also be measured. An alarm is output (open collector) if a specified demand alarm point is exceeded. A demand alarm mask time can also be set to prevent unnecessary alarms near the start time within the time limit. 2. Can the PR300's triple displays be assigned to any measurement element?
Yes. Any measurement element can be assigned to any of the three displays (upper, middle or lower). Specified phases of voltage and current can also be assigned, and you can scroll the displays through the phases with the SEL key. Find out more about the PR300 Power Monitor here.
