-To connect the DA100 directly to a PC, use one cross cable.
-To connect the DA100 to a PC via a hub, two straight cables are required. |
| First obtain a fixed IP address from the network administrator.
Then enter the obtained IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway on the DA100. |
First, if DAQ32 is currently monitoring or recording, stop those operations.
Then make the change using the following steps:
- Start "Software Configurator" and choose the Communications tab.
- Click 9600 under Baud rate in the RS232C area to display a list. Click 38400 in the list.
- The three displayed dipswitches change.
- The display shows how to set the dipswitches on the DA100's RS232C module. Turn OFF the power to the DA100 and set the dipswitches as shown.
- Turn ON the power to the DA100. Turn DAQ32 OFF, then back ON again.
- Communication is now possible at 38400 bps.

However, please look into DAQ32PLUS which offers 300 channels + 60 computation channels. |
