With the PC and DX connected to a LAN, the IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway of both instruments must be set correctly, and then the following procedure is performed.
- Launch the DAQWORX DAQEXPLORER Desktop.
- Input the user name and password. If the login funcion is activated on the DX, please check the user name and password on the DX.
- Choose File > New mount, then specify the IP address of the DX.
- The icon of the specified DX is mounted. Double-click the icon.

| There are a variety of possible causes for this. One possibility is that the network is not properly connected. Check all connections. Next, try starting DAQEXPLORER desktop using the user name and password set on the DX. |
| Check the number of data. EXCEL worksheets have a size limitation of 65536 rows and 256 columns. If there are 65536 or more data along the time axis the data cannot be opened in EXCEL. For example, if data is recorded every second, one day's worth of recording will contain 86400 data, which exceeds the maximum number of rows. To prevent this, be sure to specify the time width during conversion to EXCEL. |
| This is possible using the DAQEXPLORER software program. Connect the DX100 or DX200 to a PC via Ethernet, and set DAQEXPLORER to send recorded data to the PC's hard disk and automatically convert them to EXCEL files. |
