Open the Alarm Monitor window, then select "Alarm Sound" under Monitor in the menu.
-To connect the DA100 directly to a PC, use one cross cable.
-To connect the DA100 to a PC via a hub, two straight cables are required. |
With VJET or the UT351/UT551 Ethernet gateway function, the timeout for communication with devices connected downstream via serial communications takes approximately four to five seconds, so try setting the timeout on GateCONTROL to five or possibly more seconds.
Ethernet, RS232C, and RS422A/RS485.
Yes. You can acquire data from MODBUS devices on DAQLOGGER using Gate-MODBUS.
Yes. Up to 32 units can be connected.
Yes. This can be set up in the event processor.
Yes. Use the remote controller function.
If you use GateµR along with DAQLOGGER, you can acquire data from the µR10000.
MX100 -> GateMX100 or MXLOGGER -> DAQLOGGER with DA100 -> DAQLOGGER you can load data from both onto DAQLOGGER, but it will take 1 second or longer.
When viewing MXLOGGER from DAQLOGGER, the MXLOGGER data is separated by MXLOGGER system number. The system number is automatically set depending on the measurement interval and units on the MX side. If you specify an MXLOGGER on DAQLOGGER and perform automatic model determination after specifying a system number at the same time as specifying an address, the number of channels belonging to the specified system number are set.
In general it is difficult to say becuase acquisition performance varies greatly according to factors such as communication speed and PC specifications in addition to the number of connected units and channels. In your case, the speed of your serial communication will have a big effect. If you connect an RS232/422 converter to your PC's RS232C port and perform communications at 9600 bps, you could expect around 30 channels per unit on 4 units. For instance, if you wish to connect five or more units of the µR1000/µR1800 and maintain acquisition at one-second intervals, use multiple PC COM ports and place every four units on a separate RS422 connection.
Check the number of data and tags. EXCEL worksheets have a size limitation of 65536 rows and 256 columns. Set it so that the number of data along the time axis is 65536 or less, and that the number of tags is 250 or less.
Files can be automatically divided by number of data, daily, or hourly.
Also, with the very latest versions (R7.08 or later), files can be divided by monthly. |
Using DAQLOGGER client, you can view the DAQLOGGER monitor screen on another PC.
The TAG numbers cannot be changed by the user. They are fixed to TAG0001 through TAG1600. You can use up to sixteen alphanumeric characters for tag comments and group names, however, only eight characters can be displayed for group names.
For DAQLOGGER, it's 3600 data. Past data beyond that are not displayed.
In general the differences in recording functions are as follows.
- On DAQLOGGER, data from multiple DXs are combined, and acquired and recorded using the time on the PC, thereby maintaining synchronicity.
- On DAQEXPLORER, synchronicity is not maintained since files recorded based on the time on the DX are transferred, and the recorded data from multiple DXs are saved to separate files.
|
After starting the scan, you have to also start recording. After recording start, the file creation will start on the specified date and time.
Files be created using the report function, but they cannot be printed out automatically.
Yes, the latest version supports it.
The latest version (R7.09 or later) supports the Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit, and Windows Vista Business 32-bit versions. The various Gate software programs of the same period also support these versions.
A release upgrade kit for DAQLOGGER is available.
GateDX-P, GateWT, GateOPC, and GateMODBUS can be run as an automatically executing service, but this is not available on Windows Vista. Instead, please use the function included in the latest version (GateDX-P: R1.05 or later, GateWT: R2.04 or later, GateOPC: R1.06 or later, GateMODBUS: R2.05 or later) that lets you automatically execute by creating a Windows shortcut.
