Introducing Useful Functions
µR Intelligent Industrial Recorders

The μR10000/μR20000 comes with a Periodic Printout function that prints out numerical measured values and other items on the left side of the chart paper during analog recording. The printout is performed at an interval specified in advance. The function is very useful in that it allows you to check measured values at a glance at uniform time periods (intervals). Intervals can be specified in two ways: "Auto" prints out at intervals based on the chart speed, and "Manual" allows you to select one of several available time interval options.
The following provides a brief explanation of the relationship between the times of the Manual interval settings and the printout.
Chart Speeds Available with Periodic Printout
Relationship between the Items Printed Out and Intervals
A periodic printout cannot start until all items of the previous periodic printout are finished. If all items cannot be printed out within the specified interval, then that interval will effectively double in length (or triple, or quadruple, etc.).
Example:
μR10000 dot model chart speed: 20 mm/h, interval: 30 min, other settings: defaults.
- With these settings, approximately 28 mm*2 would be required to print out 11 lines*1.
- The length of chart paper fed during the interval is 10 mm.
At the specified interval of 30 minutes, all items cannot be printed out. The actual interval becomes 1 hour and 30 minutes.
To perform printout at shorter intervals, change the settings as follows.
- Decrease the number of items*1 to print out.
- Increase the chart speed within the range allowed for printout.
*1: Items printed out
*2: The length of chart paper required for printout depends on the chart speed, recording interval, and other factors.
