A Variety of Noise Solutions
DAQMASTER series noise rejecting modules are recommended when you have concerns about high-frequency noise effects during measurement of temperature and other phenomena.
As mentioned in a previous "Tips of the Month," the DAQMASTER 4-CH High-Speed Modules offer superior noise rejection performance.
Noise can be vexing: it comes many forms, originates from many sources, and is invisible to the eye. When you are concerned about noise, it is recommended to use 4 channel high speed modules with an integrating A/D converter (1) on each channel.
Nevertheless, realistically there are limits in terms of cost as to how many individual channels can be provided with A/D in multichannel measurement. To handle these cases (even with scanner style modules), we have modules with improved noise rejection. ((2), (3))
Noise Rejecting Modules
| (1) | 4-CH, High-Speed Universal Module | MX110-UNV-H04 |
| (2) | Low Resistance Module *1 | MX110-UNV-M10/S5 *3 |
| (3) | Built-in Capacitor Module *2 | MX110-UNV-M10/S6 *3 |
- SSR (solid state relays) module with low resistance when relay is ON.
- SSR (solid state relays) module with capacitor on each channel.
- Please inquire for the specifications of the scanner type noise rejecting modules.
Although it depends on the type and properties of the noise, you can expect rejection of commonly encountered inverter noise.

Note that details regarding the noise rejection performance of the DAQMASTER series are included in the MX100 technical information (TI 04M08B01-00E)
