Yokogawa's new concept optical router core subsystem is capable of ultra-fast 2ns switching.
The optical router core subsystem is a prototype in which only core elements have been implemented. They are controlled by a PC. By adding a scheduling circuit or a high-speed trigger circuit, a completely new optical router can be realized.
