The ynet™ Optical Packet Network System based on original Yokogawa technology has been shown to be a commercially viable solution for the transmission of live video signals. Its component technologies are available in the following subsystems for the development of next-generation optical packet networks.

Using ultra-fast compound semiconductor technology that has been under development since 1983, Yokogawa provides modulation drivers, multiplexers, and other ultra-fast logic circuits that are important components of optical communications systems. These subsystem units are intended for use by telecommunications carriers, R&D labs, and universities for the development of optical communications.
