Since its introduction in 2007, Yokogawa's 40G RZ-DQPSK Transponder has sold well in various countries and is being adopted in commercial transmission systems. With the recent worldwide growth in data communications, customers' expectations for the 40G DQPSK Transponder, Yokogawa's next-generation backbone transmission system, are ever increasing.
Responding to the market growth as well as answering customer needs for small size and low power consumption, Yokogawa has developed a new 40G RZ-DQPSK Transponder, the MSA size compliant global model. This is one quarter the size of the earlier model and retains all of its excellent specifications, including noise immunity for ultra-long haul transmissions.
