March 5, 2002 Yokogawa Signs Dealership Agreement to Distribute IVT Corporation's Bluetooth Testers--Strengthening Development and Evaluation Solutions for Bluetooth Devices Yokogawa Electric Corporation announced that it has entered into a partnership with IVT Corporation, a leading provider of Bluetooth software products, to sell IVT's Bluetooth protocol tester, BlueTesterâ„¢, worldwide. The BlueTester helps vendors significantly simplify the complexity of receiving a Bluetooth certification by testing and automatically judging standard compliance and interoperability of products, and creating reports in a predefined format. Yokogawa released the BX1000 Bluetooth protocol analyzer in October 2000 for the measurement of the upper layer of Bluetooth protocol. With the aim of strengthening its market position, Yokogawa will combine the BX1000 with the BlueTester to provide solutions for all stages of bringing a product to market--from development to evaluation and certification.
