Tokyo, Japan -
May 9, 2002 Yokogawa Releases DL750 ScopeCorder - A Truly Portable Waveform Measuring Instrument with 1-GWord of Memory Yokogawa Electric Corporation announced today that it has developed the DL750 ScopeCorder and will release it to Japanese market on May 13, 2002, and to others on May 27. The new DL750 product is the latest in the DL700 series of waveform measuring instruments that can be used for observing a wide variety of waveforms from physical to electric signals. The DL750 ScopeCorder has incorporated 1 gigaword of memory, the largest for this class of device, and is half the size of previous generation products. It is also equipped with the GIGAZoom function, which uses a specially developed ASIC to instantaneously display data stored in the large memory. Features
Yokogawa's Approach To The Waveform Measuring Instruments Field
Yokogawa Electric Corporation moved into the remarkably promising market of digital oscilloscopes in October 1988 with its introduction of the DL2100, a series of high-speed digital oscilloscopes. In order to enrich the lineup, Yokogawa has since been successively developing additional models ranging from midrange general-purpose to high-end models. In the mid-range general-purpose market, Yokogawa has established a solid reputation as a leading manufacturer. As opposed to conventional digital oscilloscopes which were tailored for the observation of PCB circuits and others in the electric and electronic markets, the DL700 series is targeted at a wide range of observations from electric signals to physical signals such as sensor outputs, mechanical signal outputs, and temperature changes. The DL700 series is Yokogawafs strategic product that aims to become the standard in the field of measurement of physical quantities at 10 MS/s or lower. Yokogawa believes that by supporting wider applications and having multi-channel and large-memory capabilities, the new DL750 will further enhance its lineup of waveform measuring instruments. About Yokogawa Yokogawa's global network of 19 manufacturing facilities and 89 companies spans 32 countries. Since its founding in 1915, the US$4 billion company has been engaged in cutting-edge research and innovation, securing more than 7,500 patents and registrations, including the world's first digital sensors for flow and pressure measurement. Industrial automation and control, test and measurement, information systems and industry support are the core businesses of Yokogawa.
