October 7, 2003 Yokogawa Electric Corporation announces that Yokogawa Electric Korea Co., Ltd., the company’s Korean subsidiary located in Pupyong-ku, Inchon, has been awarded a contract by Hyundai Heavy Industries to participate in the Bonny Island Terminal Project for Shell Petroleum Development Corporation in Nigeria. Yokogawa Korea has been appointed the main automation vendor for the project and will supply a total system solution worth 4.5 million US dollars for the Bonny Island terminal, which is a large facility that has 24 oil storage tanks in total.
