Our new concept DCS has a Unified Operator Interface (UOI) that enables tight integration of the process controls for General Electric Company gas turbines and the heat recovery steam generator (HRSG) and balance of plant (BOP) auxiliaries. The CENTUM CS 3000/UOI enables the turbine system HMI environment to fully embrace the HRSG/BOP process control system as well, enabling seamless operation of the entire power plant.

Unified operation
- All of the actions required for the operation, management, and maintenance of turbines, HRSG, and BOP can be carried out from a single operator interface.
- The turbine system and the HRSG/BOP system use the same screen and formats as the turbine HMI display, eliminating the requirement for operators to master the operation of multiple systems.

Streamlined duplication-free engineering
- The UOI solution provides streamlined duplication-free engineering on the CENTUM CS 3000/UOI for HRSG/BOP control while enabling engineering-free direct import of the General Electric Company’s turbine control system HMI graphics.
- The UOI solution architecture also eliminates the need for communication gateways and cross-system communications that have been the bane of the conventional method of integration.

Flexible fast-track project execution
Gone are all the cumbersome engineering tasks during system integration since there is no cross-system communication involved and no duplicated turbine graphics. The bottom line is you can control the engineering lead time of the entire package in a much more flexible manner.
