Ninth Annual SBP Meeting in Tokyo
On February 3, 2011, Yokogawa hosted the 9th SBP Users Meeting at Curian, a public auditorium in Tokyo’s Shinagawa Ward..
Purpose of the Users Meeting
This meeting provided current and prospective users an opportunity to learn about actual applications of solution-based software packages (SBP) such as the Exapilot operation efficiency improvement package, Exaquantum plant information management package, and Exarqe robust quality estimator.
User Presentations
One hundred forty two users from various industries attended the meeting and four applications were presented. Over 100 Yokogawa employees and representatives also attended and listened intently to the presentations. This year, Yokogawa personnel made presentations on how the SBP packages will evolve in line with the VigilantPlant concept, and there was also a presentation about the new VigilantPlant Services. The participants commented that the meeting was useful and gave them lots of ideas that could be immediately applied at their own plants.
