The Next Generation in SCADA & Process Management Software, FAST/TOOLS R9.01
Improving and Strengthening Maintainability & Availability
1.Personalized visualization
Zero deployment visualization and engineering sheets (toolbox, properties, actions, parameters, etc.) can be sized and organized as appropriate. They are easy-to-manage and can be dragged and dropped, pinned, or unpinned to appear on the pop-up side bar menus.
2.Secure deployment
In support of organizations' security policies, the system and its applications are hardened to support protection against failures and help prevent unauthorized usage and access. Because of its simple licensing policy, it's now easier than ever to benefit from the cost savings of web-based virtualization. The web-based server and client architecture provides easy remote access and deployment of security enhancements as well as graphics and application services.
3.High availability computing and tight integration
| Support of stand-alone, cluster, and fault tolerant configurations provides fit-for-purpose availability and guaranteed productivity. With reduced complexity and a comprehensive set of administration and diagnostic tools, the system is easy to manage and integrate with existing infrastructure. Seamless vertical and horizontal integration is provided with the Yokogawa product family including the Exaquantum Plant Information Management System, STARDOM Network-based Control System, and ProSafe-RS Safety Instrumented System as well as many third party software and hardware products. | |
4.Platform support
|
FAST/TOOLS R9.01 is compliant with both Windows Vista Business Edition and Windows XP. FAST/TOOLS is also compliant with Redhat Enterprise Linux 5. Linux is an operating platform for Intel CPUs. A mix of operating systems is possible for optimal performance and availability. For example, a Linux server can be run with Windows Vista clients. |
