Singapore was picked as the Manufacturing Headquarters (MHQ) due to its excellent infrastructure, vibrant and knowledge-intensive business environment. As the first and only MHQ outside Japan to manufacture Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Yokogawa Electric Asia (YAS) has become a strategic base for Yokogawa since 1988 and has established a world presence in the industry.

DCS Assembly

At YAS, we manufacture control systems and Temperature Transmitters for the process industry worldwide.

In addition, to fully capitalize on our capabilities, we have extended our manufacturing services beyond the production of DCS and transmitters to offer contract manufacturing and turnkey projects to the electronics and electrical industries.

The expertise and in-house quality production capabilities include printed circuit board assembly, metal part fabrication, plastic moulding and producing power cord for our customers.

As part of the company’s effort to address the needs of our changing world towards international recognition, our manufacturing operation were awarded with the following awards:-

ISO 9001, Quality Management System, to assure quality to our customer,
ISO 14001, Environment Management System, which fulfilled our social responsibility,
People Developer Standard (PDS) by Productivity Standard Board of Singapore, to entrust the asset of Human Resource Training, and
of Singapore Quality Class by Productivity Standard Board, which confirmed our operation effectiveness and efficiency
