Windows 2000 Network Fundamental - N E T F

Objective This course is to provide individuals who are new to Microsoft Window 2000 with the knowledge necessary to understand and identify the tasks involved in supporting Window 2000 networks. This is an introductory course designed to provide an overview of network concepts and how they are implemented in Window 2000.

Participants For technicians/engineers involved in network operating system working environment.
Prerequisite Proficiency using the Window interface to locate, create, manipulate folders and files and to configure the desktop environment. - General knowledge of computer hardware components, including memory, hard disks, and central processing units. - General knowledge of networking concepts, including network operating system, server-client relationship, and local area network (LAN).
