Migration Support Your way is the right way.
There is no one "right way" for migration -- every plant is unique in its operational priorities, budget constraints, legacy system status, and so on. Standing still with aging assets may not be the best option, but the way forward must be planned carefully and flexibly. Since introducing the world's first DCS in 1975, Yokogawa has helped myriads of migration projects, offering expert consulting and flexible services to meet unique customer requirements.
 
Migration Support

When the customer chooses a phased migration, we propose an optimal migration blueprint that takes into consideration their specific requirements. Generally, a phased migration takes place over a long period of time, and we understand that keeping the system reliably operable during the migration is of great importance. To meet specific customer requirements, we also provide several optional services. For example, we offer a Recovery service (*1) and a Renewal service (*2) for cards that have been in use for long periods. For customers who so require, a Parts replacement service is also available.

Optimal Planning & Smooth Migration
Phased Migration:
Phased migration renews a system one component at a time. A benefit of this approach is that it minimizes system replacement time. Other merits include the spreading out of costs over time and the achievement of smoother transitions for reduced operational loss / opportunity cost. Yokogawa also offers support programs for planned migrations.
