<Overview>
The RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator) test monitors whether the RSSI is working properly by contrasting the digital output from the receiving signal-level analog input, and observing control signal behaviors inside of the device.
<Measuring Points>
The cellular phone receives the field intensity level of the receiving signal from the radio base station, and displays it on the RSSI. To test if the internal process and RSSI indicator display work properly, the Digital Oscilloscopes DL7400 series and DL1640 series can be used to measure data before and after A/D conversion (analog/digital) of the receiving signal field intensity, and measure display stability when switching frequencies with high-speed sampling. You can zoom in on abnormal areas, print out the image instantly with the built-in printer, and save to floppy disk /Zip® drive/PC card drive (TypeII). In addition, they are both portable so it is appropriate for AFC testing in the field.
