<Overview>
In the base band designing phase for cellular phones, a voice test is done to observe voices from the microphone speaker and wireless signal components such as mixed digital/analog multi-channel input/output. Then monitoring is done when each part degrades.
<Measuring Points>
The cellular phone controls the complex timing in the base band. The Long Memory Digital Oscilloscope DL7440/DL7480 uses long duration high-speed sampling to test if the internal controls work properly. It measures the shift of the analog input waveform from wireless components, serial input after A/D conversion, analog input/output of microphone and speaker voice, and the serial input/output. The History memory enables capturing of rare phenomena, and the ZOOM function enables observation of the details in long data, and printing of the zoomed image. Also data saving on FD, Zip® and PC card is available.
