- MS in Electrical Engineering, Royal Institute of Technology
- MBA, Stockholm University
- 35 years work experience in Sweden, 16 of those for the ERICSSON Group during which time he became Vice President of Strategic Planning, Ericsson Information Systems.
- During the past 10 years, became Chairman of the Board of the Electrum Foundation, and founded the IT Competence Center in the Kista Science Park, Stockholm. Presently, Electrum includes IT-related departments from Stockholm University and the Royal Institute of Technology, as well as many independent laboratories. It is one of Europe's largest IT competence centers.
