Yokogawa UK welcomes IET for Industry Links Day

Yokogawa UK Limited welcomed the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and its members to their head office in Runcorn on 19th October 2016 for an Industry Links day.

IET, a registered charity whose mission is to inspire, inform and influence the global engineering community, supports technology innovation to meet the needs of society.

The event provided an opportunity for the delegates to meet with the Yokogawa team and discover emerging industry trends and their latest technological advances.

Following a welcome speech from Jerry Hopkins (IET) and Yokogawa UK’s Managing Director Nigel Bowden; delegates were invited to tour the demonstration areas headed up by the UK’s product managers and sales teams.

On display were the DTSX® fibre optic measurement system; TDLS8000 laser based analyser, and ISA100 Wireless™ system. Yokogawa’s Data-as-a-Service (Daas) secure cloud-based technologies were presented using the Web*Technician™ platform; and their latest advances in mobile operations were demonstrated using an android tablet to provide a system overview of remote applications with CENTUM® VP graphics displayed.
