The AXF magnetic flowmeter has been developed based on Yokogawa's decades long experience in magnetic flowmeters. It offers outstanding reliability and ease of operation. The AXF magnetic flowmeter is significantly easier to maintain thanks to the combination of replaceable electrodes and a diagnostic function that detects the level of coating on the electrodes. The AXF also employs a dual frequency excitation method (available for sizes up to 16 in.) that eliminates fluid noise. A newly enhanced dual frequency excitation method is also available as an option for more difficult applications to ensure greater stability and quicker response.

The unique AXFA11 converter can be paired with flowtubes from other manufacturers and will upgrade AC or DC powered meters to ADMAG's dual-frequency excitation.

ADMAG CA combines the original ADMAG benefits with a new "electrodeless" flowtube design,redefining the traditional application envelope. ADMAG CA is capable of measuring fluid conductivity down to 0.01µS/cm while completely eliminating electrode coating build-up.

Utilizing a DC keyed excitation method, ADMAG SE was designed for those applications where traditional magmeters are used, and where the advantages of Yokogawa’s dual-frequency excitation and comprehensive function sets are not required. The result is a highly cost-effective series of magnetic flowmeters that addresses the needs of the general user at a cost savings. Although cost effective, no compromises are made with respect to quality. It features the same fully-welded flow tube construction, leak proof electrode design, and retained PFA liner as other ADMAG flowmeters.

The ADMAG AXF series and ADMAG CA series of flowmeters is available in a sanitary version which meets the strict requirements of the food-processing and bio-technology/ pharmaceutical industries.
