ROTA invented the rotating float, which is self-guiding and has less friction in the pipe so that a more precise measurement is possible. Rota Yokogawa is one of the main suppliers of ROTAMETERs™ in Europe. Globally ROTAMETER™ is available with metering tubes manufactured from either glass, plastic or metal. Our ROTAMETER™ family includes units 6mm to 125mm line sizes, temperatures from -180 to +400ºC, flange ratings to 1500#, ±1.6% accuracy class and turndown's of 10:1. ROTAMETERs™ offer a very low cost, easy to install solution to flow measurement. Once considered as only a water or air flowmeter, ROTAMETER™ is now world proven in applications such as industrial gases, viscous/non conductive chemicals, steam and fuels. |

RAMC and RAKD Metal Rotameters |
The RAMC short-stroke Rotameter allows the measurement of high flow rates using a relatively short metering tube. It is a stainless steel armored construction for the safe measurement of a variety of liquids, gas and steam. It’s special application is for hazardous, dangerous or aggressive fluids, for high temperatures and high pressure rates. The RAKD short-tube mini Rotameter is used for measurements of low flow rates of liquids and gases. Its special application is in troubled, opaque or aggressive mediums and under high pressure. |
