    • Brief explanation of operational theory
    • What differentiates Yokogawa from other suppliers of TDL analyzers
  • What is required for application review and why

    • Gas composition
    • Gas pressure
    • Gas Temperature
    • Pipe size or duct size (OPL)
  • Example of applications
  • Why TDL for combustion

    • O2, CO/CH4 for Gas fired furnaces
    • CO for Wall fired Coal combustion
Instructor: David L. WyattThis course is taught by Donald L. Wyatt who is sales manager for three years for Analytical Specialties (company acquired by Yokogawa and currently is the Laser Analysis division). Donald received BS in Chemical Engineering from Auburn University and has experience more than 15 years in the Process Analyzer business.

He participated in two departments of energy programs: “Development of In Situ Sensors for the Chemical Industry” led to the development of the TruePeak TDLS platform and "Advanced Diagnostics and Control for Furnaces, Fired Heaters and Boilers" led to the development of the Combustion Measurement TDLS platform. Both of these TDLS platforms will be discussed during the presentation.
