As wireless systems become more adept at providing robust communication links, their use in industrial automation applications increases in importance. Discover the implementation limits and practical benefits associated with wireless technologies. Wireless protocols, frequencies, system implementations and integration into the industrial environment are examined in this seminar and current and near-term future technologies compared in terms of their applicability for the industrial environment. The seminar also looks at applications which would benefit from the freedom of movement provided by wireless technology. Integration of traditional wire-based systems and wireless systems is discussed, as are networking strategies. Comparisons of available technologies give you insight for real-life applications and the basic strategy for various implementations is outlined. In-depth examinations of analog and digital communications emphasize narrowband channels, spread spectrum techniques.
