- Why purge gas and how much is typically consumed on a TDLS8000?
Answers
- 4 Purge Lines: 2 for the electronics (flow 1-5 std liters per min), 2 for windows (flow 25-55 std liters per min).
- A total of 50-120 standard liters per min flow rate is application dependent. Dirty or hotter process will require more flow
- The TDLS8000 is non-incendive and does not require a purge to maintain hazardous ratings. The purge gas is required to keep the electronics and process windows cool, clean, and dry. Average consumption can run between 50-120 standard liters per min.
