TurnKey Design

This project consisted of redesigning a customer’s test box from a discrete wire design to a PCB based design. The original design had over 50 discrete wires, took over 4 hours to assemble, and was unreliable due to intermittent interconnects. The redesigned unit had 4 discrete wires, took less than 1 hour to manufacture, and had improved reliability. The turnkey design and manufacturing was completed in less than 4 weeks and was done completely in house at YCA.
