Due to the ever-growing challenge of dwindling expertise and resources that our end-user clients have at their disposal, the on-going demand to increase production and maintain operational excellence and efficiencies, end-user clients look towards a meaningful, substantive & value-add partnership with vendors such as Yokogawa.

In our commitment to our existing and future customers and to keep up with the demands, it is imperative for Yokogawa to manage and maintain a Solution Partner Program that complements Yokogawa's deliverables to our customers. This philosophy is the premise of our commitment to deliver Operational Excellence to our customers. Solution Partners have and will continue to play an important role in delivering these commitments.

  • Solution Partners that can demonstrate value-add to Yokogawa's proposition to our clients & the industry

  • A desire & interest to engineer, integrate & support a customer solution utilizing some of the most robust, reliable, highly available and leading edge technology systems hardware & software solutions

Qualification Process

  • Introduction of Solution Partner candidate to Yokogawa Corporation of America
  • Validation of mutual benefit to both parties by Yokogawa Management & Solution Partner prospect
  • Quality Assurance / Site Audit at Solution Partner's offices by Yokogawa
  • Due Diligence and Data Collection on Solution Partner's fiscal health thru Dunn & Bradstreet, Inc. thru BIR&, PAR& and CSR&
  • Final Review and Evaluation by Yokogawa Management
  • Approval Process completion
  • Solution Partner contract prepared and sent to Solution Partner to review and sign

Basic Level Overview

  • The Basic Level of the program is intended to facilitate enhanced value-add Yokogawa solutions to end-users/clients
  • Solution Partners at this level will typically accommodate the infrastructure, resources and skill sets to sell, engineer & package small to mid size Systems Projects for clients interested in a Yokogawa solution
  • Basic Level Solution Partners will demonstrate the experience and know-how to integrate PLC / Misc. subsystems to the Yokogawa DCS
  • Solution Partners at this level seem to be fairly independent and require minimal Yokogawa support
  • Typically also possess Fieldbus, Asset Management, Plant Information Management Systems know-how and experience
  • Basic Level Solution Partners at this level are encouraged and expected to promote a Yokogawa solution where possible

Basic Level Requirements

  • Achieve Yokogawa approval by the North American Offices
  • Demonstrate the ability to promote Yokogawa System solutions
  • Strong encouragement to work with local Yokogawa Representatives to promote Systems Solutions
  • Demonstrate the ability to sell or influence $100-$150K Yokogawa System solutions
  • Send a minimum of 2 engineers to the Yokogawa Education Center for training
  • Yokogawa will provide a discount on additional training sessions
  • It would be required for at least 1 engineer to attend Systems Update Training annually
  • Yearly Facilities and Project Management / Execution / Documentation Audit by Yokogawa Quality Assurance

Basic Level Deliverables from Yokogawa

  • Solution Partner name and web-link listed on Yokogawa web-site and pertinent Advertisements & Reprints
  • One day Systems Solutions Introduction Seminar at Solution Partner offices
  • Solution Partner - Systems DVD with updates
  • Participate in Systems Solutions Update Webinars conducted on a frequent basis
  • Invitation to the Annual Yokogawa User Conference & Exhibition
  • Limited access to Yokogawa Global Response Center for technical assistance
  • User specific & password protected access to the Solutions Partner Portal

Diamond Level Overview

  • The Diamond Level of the program is intended to facilitate enhanced value-add Yokogawa solutions to end-users/clients
  • Solution Partners at this level will typically accommodate the infrastructure, resources and skill sets to sell, engineer & package medium to large scale Systems Projects for clients interested in a Yokogawa solution
  • Diamond Level Solution Partners typically have the ability to work in a multi-disciplined environment such as projects requiring co-ordination between Automation Vendor(s), EPC(s), Sub-System Supplier(s) etc.
  • Solution Partners at this level typically have in-house systems fabrication, staging and Client Acceptance Test facilities
  • Diamond Level Partners are typically well-experienced in continuous & batch process applications, Bus Technology integration, MCC/VFD subsystem integration, PLC subsystem integration, Historian & PIMS and Advanced Process Controls
  • Diamond Level Partners have experience in FEED, Remote Instrument Buildings (RIBs) and seem to be familiar with MAC & MICC projects
  • Solution Partners at this level seem to be fairly independent and require minimal Yokogawa support
  • Diamond Level Solution Partners at this level are encouraged and expected to promote a Yokogawa solution where possible

Diamond Level Requirements

  • Achieve Yokogawa approval by the North American Offices
  • "Yearly SW Keycodes" are provided as part of the Yearly subscription
  • Demonstrate the ability to promote Yokogawa System solutions
  • Strong encouragement to work with local Yokogawa Representatives to promote Systems Solutions
  • Demonstrate the ability to sell or influence $250-$750K Yokogawa System solutions
  • Send a minimum of 2 engineers to the Yokogawa Education Center for training
  • Yokogawa will provide a discount on additional training sessions
  • It would be required for at least 2 engineers to attend Systems Update Training annually
  • Yearly Facilities and Project Management / Execution / Documentation Audit by Yokogawa Quality Assurance
