At Yokogawa GesmbH, location Western Austria (ideally Tyrol)  we are looking for a new colleague (f/m) in the position of: 

Account Manager PCI (Process Control Instrumentation)


Yokogawa wants to build and further expand the business for process control instrumentation/solutions in the western part of Austria. The PCI portfolio of Yokogawa includes pressure- and differential pressure transmitters, a full range of flowmeters, temperature transmitters, analytical instruments, recorders, data acquisition products, etc. This position will be supported for the daily operation by a team of engineers, order handlers and products specialists based in Vienna. This team will take care of queries, quotations, order handling and logistics.

 Do you have a ‘why not’ attitude and are you a strong communicator?

Your main responsibilities are: 

  • To identify sales opportunities, in the defined market segments, territory and customer Accounts
  • To identify customer needs and requirements and assist in providing innovative and cost effective solutions
  • To assist the Sales Support Team with the production of technically and commercially acceptable proposals, tender documents and bid submissions
  • To liaise with the Yokogawa Products Division for the presentation and support of totally integrated Instrumentation/Systems solutions
  • Commercial negotiation and responsibility for assisting the bid process
  • Sales and promotional activity and presentations of Yokogawa solutions and services
  • To participate as a member of the Austrian PCI sales team in the pursuit of its business activities
  • To prepare and carry out presentations and demonstrations on the range of Yokogawa PCI solutions and equipment
  • Customer liaison and entertainment, as and when necessary, including participation at conferences or exhibitions

We are looking for a colleague with: 

  • Completed technical education (HTL-/FH-/TU) Control- and Measurement, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronic
  • 3 - 5 years work experience in related industries
  • Proven track record in sales of instrumentation solutions and engineering services
  • Sales / marketing support for  high technology capital equipment
  • Excellent IT knowledge (MS Office applications, SAP, CRM, etc.)
  • Service- and target-oriented, commercial attitude, stress-resistant, accurate, hands-on attitude
  • Good communication skills, team-oriented, high degree of self-motivation
  • Flexibility and willingness for travels, also international
  • Sensitivity to cultural awareness
  • Working in Matrix Organizations and dealing with virtual teams
  • Fluent in German and English (writing, speaking and technical terminology)

The actual annual salary is based on your qualifications and experience, we determine this together with you, the minimum annual salary amounts to € 56.000,-- gross.
