Yokogawa worldwide
The Yokogawa story goes back to 1915, when Dr. Tamisuke Yokogawa, a well-known architect, established an electric meter research institute in Tokyo. This marked the beginning of a new era in measurement technology in Japan. Galvanometers, fluxmeters and portable oscillographs were later developed for the Japanese market.
Today, the Yokogawa Electric Corporation is a global player with a worldwide reputation as an automation specialist for the process industry. Industrial automation, test and measurement systems, and innovative niche products, e.g. for the health and aviation markets, are the core business segments of Yokogawa.
