Een voorbeeld hiervan is het scheiden van onder ander <\/strong><strong>koolwaterstoffen om tijdens het productieproces de exacte samenstelling van een product te kunnen bepalen, bijvoorbeeld bij het destilleren van vloeibare gassen. Snelle resultaten zijn van belang om het proces effici\u00ebnter te kunnen sturen. Yokogawa gaschromatografen worden overigens geoptimaliseerd voor onze wereldwijde klanten in ons GC-laboratorium in Amersfoort. In dit blogartikel leggen we uit hoe de proceschromatograaf het beste kan worden toegepast.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Ingenieus ontwerp<\/h2>\n<figure id=\"attachment_6335\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-6335\" style=\"width: 206px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-6335\" src=\"https:\/\/www.yokogawa.com\/eu\/blog\/app\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2022\/09\/gc-1.jpg\" alt=\"GC8000-procesgaschromatograaf\" width=\"206\" height=\"310\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-6335\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">GC8000-procesgaschromatograaf<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Het ontwerp van de Yokogawa GC8000-procesgaschromatograaf verschilt enigszins van dat van veel concurrenten op de markt. Drukregelaars voor het carrier gas bevinden zich niet aan de buitenkant, maar in de oven van de gaschromatograaf. Het gas neemt zo de constante temperatuur in de oven aan en is immuun voor eventuele schommelingen in de buitentemperatuur rondom de gas chromatograaf. De homogene temperatuurverdeling van het circulerende verwarmingssysteem van de oven draagt eveneens bij aan de stabiliteit (+\/-0,03 \u00b0C).<\/p>\n<h2>Heet maar niet te heet<\/h2>\n<p>De gaschromatograaf heeft geen airconditioning nodig, mits de temperatuurspecificatie geschikt is voor de omgevingsomstandigheden (-10 \u00b0C tot +50 \u00b0C). Afhankelijk van de omstandigheden ter plaatse en het toegestane temperatuurbereik is een instrumentenkast \u2013 indien nodig met ventilatie \u2013 mogelijk afdoende voor de gaschromatograaf en de bijbehorende installaties. Aangezien een cabinet veel kleiner is, kan deze waarschijnlijk veel dichter bij het bemonsteringspunt worden geplaatst dan een container of een huisje.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Hoe dichterbij hoe beter<\/strong><\/h2>\n<figure id=\"attachment_6341\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-6341\" style=\"width: 587px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-6341\" src=\"https:\/\/www.yokogawa.com\/eu\/blog\/app\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2022\/09\/gc-2.jpg\" alt=\"procesgaschromatograaf\" width=\"587\" height=\"553\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-6341\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">GC 1000<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&#8220;Veel dichterbij&#8221; betekent dat er een kortere bemonsteringsleiding (transport) kan worden gebruikt. Een geschikt \u2018fast loop\u2019-concept helpt bij het ontwerp on het monster zo snel mogelijk bij de analyser te krijgen. Door het gebruik van de backflush-technologie in de gaschromatograaf levert nog meer tijdsbesparing op qua analyse doorlooptijd. De gemeten waarden zijn sneller beschikbaar, afwijkingen van het beoogde proces worden gedetecteerd en gecorrigeerd en de productkwaliteit wordt verbeterd. Uiteraard moet iedere exploitant zelf de (financi\u00eble) voordelen voor zijn of haar processen berekenen.<\/p>\n<h2>Ook erg zuinig<\/h2>\n<figure id=\"attachment_6346\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-6346\" style=\"width: 367px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-6346\" src=\"https:\/\/www.yokogawa.com\/eu\/blog\/app\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2022\/09\/gc-3.jpg\" alt=\"procesgaschromatograaf\" width=\"367\" height=\"439\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-6346\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Analyzer kabinet<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Als er geen airconditioning nodig is en er een kastoplossing kan worden gebruikt in plaats van een container, dan heeft dit uiteraard een aanzienlijke kostenbesparing tot gevolg. Ook de verkorte bemonsteringsleiding zorgt voor duidelijk lagere kapitaalkosten en daarmee lagere onderhoudskosten van de GC8000. Bovendien zijn de veiligheidseisen die aan een kastoplossing worden gesteld, veel gemakkelijker te realiseren dan de eisen voor een container of een gebouw (controle van de omgevingslucht, bijvoorbeeld).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>En de bediening?<\/h2>\n<p>De meeste mensen staan liever in een container dan voor een kast. De GC8000 kan echter op afstand worden bediend. In het ideale geval is dit een ruimte met een koffieautomaat \u2013 die zult u zeker niet in een container aantreffen! De gaschromatograaf kan op afstand worden gemonitord en bediend: u kunt chromatogrammen, online statusinformatie of statusrapporten opvragen en u kunt kalibraties en validaties activeren en herleiden.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2>Kleinschalige oplossing met een procesgaschromatograaf<\/h2>\n<figure id=\"attachment_6351\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-6351\" style=\"width: 358px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-6351\" src=\"https:\/\/www.yokogawa.com\/eu\/blog\/app\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2022\/09\/gc-4.jpg\" alt=\"procesgaschromatograaf\" width=\"358\" height=\"286\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-6351\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Analyzer onderdak<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Dit soort kleinschalige oplossingen is ook geschikt als eenvoudige upgrade voor uw huidige fabriek. Mogelijk kunnen er apparaten en componenten worden gebruikt die reeds zijn ge\u00efnstalleerd (brownfield!).
