Yokogawa Supports Hurricane Harvey Disaster Relief Efforts
The Yokogawa Group would like to express its heartfelt condolences to the victims of Hurricane Harvey, which made landfall in Texas on August 25. To support disaster relief efforts, Yokogawa will be making a 10 million yen (approximately $91,000) contribution to the American Red Cross. The employees of Yokogawa Corporation of America, our North American headquarters based in the Houston suburbs, are also making personal donations towards a fund that will be sent to the America Red Cross to assist it in its disaster relief efforts.
Everyone at Yokogawa feels great empathy for all those affected by this devastating storm, and we sincerely hope that the region and its people all make a swift recovery, and will make the utmost effort to help those customers whose plants suffered damage in this disaster restart their operations.
