JUXTA M Series Computing Units

M Series computing units include a type that supports user-specified programs, and types that support analog memory, peak/bottom holders, moving averages, dead times, temperature/pressure compensation, and a wide range of other applications.

Details

The M Series, plug-in style and microprocessor based computing unit receives DC current or DC voltage signals, applies various computing functions to them, and then converts them into isolated DC current or DC voltage signals. Three models of MXD, MXS, MXT covering 23 mathematical functions allow wide applications. Various parameters such as input range and computation programs can be set and modified using a PC (VJ77). Using industry standard pin configurations, anyone can upgrade to JUXTA performance by just plugging one in.

  • Universal Computing unit Free programmable type and fixed computation (Moving average, Dead time, 1st-order lag/lead, Linearizer, Ratio setting, etc.) type are available for almost every application.
  • Field configuration A field configuration of input range, computation program, etc. are possible from your PC (withVJ77 PC-based parameters setting tool).
  • Equipped with two isolated current outputs (MXS)
  • 3 inputs for one computing unit (MXT) Temperature/pressure compensation for 3 inputs per one computing unit is realized by abundant variable parameters.
  • Analog output signal and integrated pulse signal are available (MXD).
  • Universal range of input and output signals
  • Plug-in type construction Easy for instrumentation planning, field wiring and maintenance because of its flexible insertion/extraction and ability to be pre-wired.
  • Power supply voltage is either 12 to 48 V DC or 85 to 264 V AC.

Weir-type flow volume calculation using the M series Free Programmable MXS (or VJXS) Computing Units

Prezentare generală:

This describes a rainfall pulse integration that uses an M series computing unit MXT (XJJM.511) free program. The XJJM.511 hardware is a computing unit with 3 isolated inputs and 1 output. There is 1 analog input, 2 digital inputs, and 1 analog output. The rain gauge's unit rainfall pulses are integrated and sent to the analog output (e.g. 1–5 VDC). The output rainfall integral value is 0% for a count of 0, and 100% for a count of 100. When the rainfall integral value reaches 100%, 100% is output for 1 second, and then the integral value returns to 0%. The maximum value of the rain integration can be changed on the VJ77 or other device.

Prezentare generală:

This introduces use of a contact input multiplication/addition computing unit that employs a user program of the MXT computing unit (XJJM.507) on fluid mixture and other calculated measurement outputs from flow meters. The figure below shows examples of connecting various field instruments to an upstream system.
