A wide range of support programmes are available to support different customer needs. Extensive 24 hour, 365 day capabilities include telephone and on-site support, preventative maintenance, calibration, spares holding, emergency assistance, together with a structured international escalation and extended warranty service.
Technical Service engineers provide engineering support for Yokogawa and third-party equipment, including validation, calibration, application, and software support, engineering consultancy, start-up services, upgrades and commissioning.
In-house and on-site training facilities are available for control and safety systems, functional safety and advanced solutions, varying from half day workshops to comprehensive training programs. Bespoke training courses are also available for both Yokogawa and other suppliers' products.
A repair service is available for economical fast turnaround repairs which, combined with an advanced replacement service, ensures that downtime is kept to a minimum.

Yokogawa Technical Services can offer the highest specification testing for customer witnessed testing of all engineering requirements in the company’s state-of-the art, purpose-built test facilities at its UK head office in Runcorn, Cheshire. Products covered include:

Yokogawa’s extensive knowledge and experience of instrumentation, control and safety systems enables the company to offer on-site commissioning support for project installations in these sectors.
Yokogawa Technical Services can offer technical support for all contract clients for product maintenance and engineering requirements. Telephone support can be provided during normal working hours, or 24-hour cover can be provided if a contract is in place.
Yokogawa Technical Services has a twofold responsibility to the customer:
- To make the customer aware of services available that will enable production to be maintained throughout the year.
- To provide a high standard of maintenance service that meets all the needs of the customer whenever and wherever required.
The purchase, operation and maintenance of all instruments involve a pro-active partnership between the supplier and the end-user that remains in place for the lifetime of the instrumentation.
Yokogawa Technical Services can provide the facility of bonded spares. In conjunction with the customer, the critical items are identified. These spares can be held in stock at the supplier or at site specifically for use on a specific installation. Critical spare parts may be the property of the end user or, on payment of a holding fee to the supplier, may be purchased for storage in a bonded stock area.
Yokogawa Technical Services bonded stock is kept in a dedicated secure air-conditioned room, with each costumer having a segregated area.
Yokogawa technical services can offer lease instruments to provide a turn-round capability for instruments removed for calibration. These instruments can be used as rotational calibration instruments or as standby spares if required.
Yokogawa UK Training Centre provides extensive training for all levels of plant personnel to maximise the benefits of Yokogawa systems and integrated solutions for your enterprise. The training program includes product and system overview, detailed system configuration, maintenance, operator and fundamentals of safety and process control.
