Overview:

In the plants of food and beverage manufacturers, there are times when monitoring and recording of production equipment is necessary inside clean rooms. This is an introduction to monitoring and recording in clean rooms using paperless recorders.

The display is blank if you turn ON the power while a a dedicated LL50A cable is plugged into the maintenance port. Try removing the cable and restarting.
Assignment settings are not necessary. The heater break alarm output has a dedicated output terminal.
I can't find a parameter I want to set.
(ns-faq-ut-2001-setting)
Please see the parameter map for your specific model. UTAdvanced Series Parameter Maps and Lists
In the case of the difference lower limit alarm, the alarm setting is a negative value. For example, you need to set it to "-5°C."
Yes. Use a UT link module for the FA-M3, and use PC link communications (RS-485) for the temperature controller communication protocol selection.
Program changes for reading PV and OUT, writing SP, and other basic parameters are not necessary. There are registers and relays that support the GREEN series. For details see the UTAdvanced series communication interface (RS-485, Ethernet) user'...
Generally you should create programs in "user ladder" mode. If needed, you can rewrite the input ladder and output ladder portions.
The DATA register uses a 4-byte floating point number, therefore it displays a lot of digits. Try using the K or P registers, since they handle 2-byte integer data.
Can I use analog input in computations?
(ns-faq-ut-2032-program)
You can use it in ladder programs. On the UT55A, you can acquire up to 4 analog inputs.
Variable parameters P01-P10 can be rewritten via communication. You'll need to use the variable parameters as constants.
On the LL50A, change the system data's ladder sequence function from USE to DON'T USE. If not using the LL50A, initialize the main unit.
Yes. Use the PON flag on contact B.
It won't start while the system data or parameter setting screen is displayed. Close those screens and restart.
Check the operation of the program on the LL50A ladder program monitor.
The comparison commands of the digital indicating controllers (UT55A/UT52A/UT35A/UT32A) and program controllers (UP55A/UP35A) compare integers (rounded to the nearest decimal). If making comparisons that include decimals, first multiply the necessary...
For contacts that have duplicated functions, it is necessary to turn them OFF on the setup parameter side.

If OVER is displayed, the PV value will be 105% of the measurement range. The control output will be the result that is calculated using this PV value. On a -OVER, the PV value is calculated as -5% of the measurement range.
The controller's operation may be set to START/MAN. Check the controller operation indicator on the front panel.
There might be breakage in a line. Check input wiring and sensors. If the input is restored, B.OUT will be cleared automatically.

You can switch the output at about ±0.25% of the input range relative to the set point.
At the time of shipment from the factory, the PID display is assigned to the Fn key on the UT front panel. If you press the Fn key, the currently used P (proportional band) is displayed. You can press the DOWN arrow key to check other items.
Try the overshoot suppression function (super function). Turn on SC: Operation parameter > TUNE > SC
The common for all GREEN series alarm relay outputs are shared. In the UTAdvanced series, each alarm relay output has its own common. If used the same way, use external wiring to connect common to common.
By factory default settings, the PID number is linked to the SP number. You can change the setting with the zone PID selection parameter (setup parameter CTL > ZON).
By factory default setting, the alarm function still works when operation is stopped (STOP). You can change the setting by using the alarm mode parameter (operation parameter ALRM > AMD).
What is the alarm standby function?
(ns-faq-ut-2111-spec)
Standby means that even when an alarm condition occurs it is ignored and the alarm stays off until the alarm condition ends. When the signal enters a non-alarm region, standby mode ends. Standby works in the following situation. When powering on ...
They are set with the same industrial quantities as the input units.
Yes, as a percentage of the PV input range span or output span.
For communication errors, the left side decimal point of the symbol display on the main unit blinks. If the SD or RD indicators light on upstream devices, check whether both are blinking.
You can specify PID parameter groups for each SP number. Each PID parameter group includes PID, output limiter, hysteresis, and other items.
For controllers, the status detection minimum hold time is the control interval + 50 ms. Also, for indicating alarms, it's the input sampling interval + 50 ms.
It's time proportional PID. That means that in addition to relay output, it can support TRIAC and voltage output. With time proportional output, control calculation result is output using the pulse width of an ON/OFF signal proportional to time. ...
The UTAdvanced series is not a CCC standard scope. Since it has acquired the GB standard, it can be used in China.

Use a relay that supports miniscule currents. The minimum ON current of a contact input (DI) is approximately 1 mA.
By turning the OLMT output limiter switch OFF, the output limiter is disabled during manual operation.
Check whether the MAN lamp is lit. If it is, control output will not change. Press the A/M key to switch to AUTO.
Try the PV tracking function (PVT=ON). This function is useful for preventing sudden changes in the PV value. When operation starts, the PVT starts by matching SP to PV, and then uses an SP slope function (TMU, UPR, DNR) to gradually return SP to the...
Check the cycle time (CT) setting. For voltage output, try a cycle time setting of around 1 to 5 seconds.
It appears when the controller's operation mode is RUN and MAN.
Choose PC link communication (sum check enabled or none). Please also refer to the Mitsubishi Touch Panel GOT catalog and user's manual.

Per factory parameter settings, the EV lamp on the UT and UM is assigned to alarms, and may light depending on the measured input (PV) and setting values. Configure your EV lamp and alarm type settings to match your operating conditions.
In your ladder program, use variable register P01 and others, and write the P01 value via communication. Then do a MOV of the P01 data to the tracking input value (TRK_CTL).
“b.out” on the PV display indicates a break in the input. Check whether the signal from the sensor is getting through. Also, to narrow down the cause, you can short the input terminal of the UT itself, then if the UT's input is normal...
At DC24 V: Approximately 17 A, 1.5 ms At AC100 V: Approximately 4.5 A, 3 ms At AC240 V: Approximately 11 A, 3 ms

Yes, by using a ladder program function. Use the square root command (SQR).Note that you can't set a low signal cutoff point. To use the ladder function, you will need the LL50A parameter setting software.
Yes, by using the message function. This function assigns messages that have been registered in advance to the PV value display section, and displays them based on contact input ON/OFF states. Setting example: MG1 = 4353
This function operates during P and PD control (when integral time I = OFF). The manual reset value is the output value when PV=SP.
