Hot Tap Models

The VERIS Verabar® hot tap models include the V200 Screw Drive - Threaded Components, and the V400 & 400D Screw Drive - Flanged Components.

The V200 and V400 primary components are averaging pitot tubes designed to provide leak resistant, precise flow measurements, reduce clogging, and improve signal stability.

V200 Averaging Pitot Tube, Screw Drive - Threaded Components

The V200 is the most versatile of the hot tap models, featuring an economical single threaded rod suitable for most applications and two threaded rods for high pressures. With the V200, installation, insertion, and retraction are possible without system shutdown, and it can be mounted to existing valves.

Its patented, anti-seize orbital bearing aligns threaded rods and eliminates galling. For double rod drives, the V200 has a synchro drive that simultaneously rotates both rods, which provides equal load distribution over both rods, maintaining sensor alignment and eliminating binding. Partial insertion is also available.

 

V400 & V400D Averaging Pitot Tube, Screw Drive - Flanged Components

The V400 & 400D is also designed with an economical single threaded rod suitable for most applications and two threaded rods for high pressures.
