Scope of Organization

Yokogawa defines Projects+ as a total project solution starting from a feed phase until the life cycle services phase. The scope of an instrumentation project could include our instrumentation as well as third-party instrumentation to provide a one-stop-shop solution. Yokogawa is well known for its high-quality pressure and temperature transmitters. Apart from field instruments, we also manufacture all type of pressure transmitters, flowmeters, process analyzers and data acquisition products. By having good relationships and contracts with most familiar brands for manifolds, seals, temperature wells and gauges, Yokogawa offers a complete portfolio.

Partnership

The slogan of Yokogawa is ‘Co-Innovating tomorrow’. Co-innovating conveys our determination to continually engage in the co-creation of value with our clients by working with them in long-term partnerships to develop solutions. Tomorrow expresses our resolve to move steadily into the future, one step at a time.
As a Japanese company, our major driver behind the emergence of our business philosophy is ‘Sanpo Yoshi’, meaning three-way-satisfaction. It is a way of doing business in Japan that emphasizes a win-win-win relationship for sellers, buyers, and society. This philosophy was primarily advocated by merchants in Shiga Prefecture over 200 years ago. It was then believed that when sellers and buyers reach mutually satisfactory terms, and when the local community is satisfied with the outcomes of the transaction, it makes for a good business. It is said this belief is expressed by the term Sanpo-yoshi.

Yokogawa’s founding principles involves putting quality first, having a pioneering spirit, and contributing to society provide the basis for our corporate philosophy, which reads:

As a company, our goal is to contribute to society through broad-ranging activities in the areas of
measurement, control, and information.
Individually, we aim to combine good citizenship with the courage to innovate.

Our commitment to this has earned us the trust of our customers and society.

Evaluation

We believe that evaluation of a past project is the first step toward vision for future projects. The project management evaluation process aims to gather data and reveal the effectiveness and efficiency of the completed project. We measure our goals by reviewing a customer satisfaction survey that is completed one-on-one with our customer or digitally. Every aspect of the project is measured to determine if it’s proceeding as planned, and if not, inform how project parts be improved. What we do with you today can improve all our next projects tomorrow.
