April 24, 2007 On April 25, Yokogawa Electric Corporation will release an enhanced version of the STARDOM Network-based Control System (NCS) with new features such as CSA explosion protection certification. STARDOM already has been certified as meeting the FM standard in the United States and the Type “n” explosion protection standard in Europe. This latest version has been certified to comply with Canada's CSA standard. Yokogawa will use this opportunity to strengthen its sales efforts targeting oil upstream processes in North America. Enhancements 1. Certification to North American explosion protection standard 2. New graphical web server package on STARDOM controller (Graphic Portfolio) 3. Multiprocessing support STARDOM Main Markets and Applications
