Triggering and analysis for the Controller Area Network (CAN) bus widely used in automotive applications.

Triggering

Trigger Setup Menu

You can set the trigger conditions on each field of a CAN frame. For instance, the trigger can be activated at a specific ID or data field.

Analysis

Use long memory to acquire CAN bus waveform data and analyze the data in a time-series manner. Analysis results are then listed along with the waveform. Results include: ID and Data fields, ACK field status and other information.

Search

Data Search Setup Menu

Use the high-speed data search function to search all acquired frames. Search for user-specified ID Field, Data Field, CRC Field or ACK Field code. A magnified view of the frame found is shown in the Zoom window. You can also search for error frame, or an indefinite state. The stuff bit can be calculated and extracted from the frame data and represented as a waveform.
