Solutions for the digital transformation in process automation

Yokogawa at ACHEMA 2018, June 11 to 15, Frankfurt / Main, Hall 11.1, Stand E16

From June 11 to 15, 2018, Yokogawa Germany will present automation solutions for the digital transformation under the theme Synaptic Business Automation (SBA) at the 32nd ACHEMA, the world forum for the process industries at the Messe Frankfurt exhibition grounds. The two-story Yokogawa Stand E16 in Hall 11.1 will focus on all key aspects of automated processing plants in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Yokogawa will also show solutions for “modular automation” at the ZVEI partner Stand D41 in Hall 9.2 as well as its own portfolio of transmitters at the shared PROFIBUS exhibition space in Hall 11.0, Stand C43.

Focus on Synaptic Business Automation

The 200 square meter Yokogawa booth in Hall 11.1 will center around “Synaptic Business Automation,” which underlies a process of co-innovation and collaboration with customers that leverages Yokogawa’s domain knowledge and digital automation technologies to create sustainable value. With Synaptic, Yokogawa helps customers create new value by connecting and integrating everything such as data, organizations, business processes and supply chains with domain knowledge and digital automation technologies, like neural networks. With Business Automation, the company co-creates value with customers by improving their business performance through optimization of supply chains and operations, and maximization of asset performance through co-innovation and digitalization. The aim is to enable individual business units to work together more effectively and to eliminate barriers that impede the flow of information and goods throughout the supply chain as well as between companies. By connecting data in multiple dimensions, components can be integrated quickly, easily and directly across all corporate units, leading to

  • Transparency and optimization along the entire value chain
  • Optimized and more flexible production processes
  • Asset operation and management
  • Reduced costs for infrastructure and transactions
  • “Scalable” resilience of production plant operation
  • Development of new, or as yet unknown, business models

Yokogawa will demonstrate Synaptic Business Automation in interactive use scenarios with the help of five core issues currently confronting the industry: Analyzer System Integration (ASI), Plant Security, Module Based Automation Engineering, Operation Management and Data Analytics. The technologies and solutions which will support the process industry as it embarks on the digital transformation journey will be the subject of twelve live demonstrations by Yokogawa experts.

Detailed information for users on Analyzer System Integration (ASI), Plant Security, Module Based Automation Engineering, Operation Management and Data Analytics will be available in the blog as well as on the website.

Further information as well as registration for talks with our local experts are available directly on the Yokogawa Achema-Website.
