Distributed Control Systems (DCS) are now the defacto minimum for control in any process industry. Process and customized calculation to control and monitor aspects or sections of a plant are features that have been introduced into DCS by the enterprising engineer.
Exacoast is a product of the standardized combination of the two.

A library of control applications, Exacoast is a field-proven, userfriendly, off-the-shelf advanced control strategies for the DCS platform. A set of standardized calculations, these can be loaded
into DCS and used in conjunction with Yokogawa APC Suite to achieve desired control and operating objectives.
