Key Features
RF10 offers three key functions: report generation, file exporting, and FTP-based data acquisition. It automates the entire workflow from acquiring data files from recorders and data loggers to generating reports and exporting files. Reports can be generated in print, PDF, or Excel formats. Acquired data files can be exported as Excel or CSV files. By automating report generation and data processing, RF10 helps improve operational efficiency, reduce workload, and minimize the risk of human error.

Three Automated Functions to Improve Efficiency and Reduce Workload
Create Reports

Based on recorded data, automatically create daily reports, batch reports, and other reports in the format appropriate to your application. You can also manually create reports at a later time.
Export to Excel/CSV

Automatically convert recorded data to Excel/CSV format. Easily use data for a variety of purposes, such as importing into higher-level systems and analysis.
Data Acquisition via FTP

The FTP function makes it easy to automatically retrieve data files. It features automatic configuration for the built-in Windows FTP server function, as well as an integrated FTP client that allows you to retrieve necessary files in batches.
When creating reports or exporting, it can also automatically copy (back up) recorded data files to another folder.

Automate Reports
RF10 supports both standard reports using fixed templates and custom reports with customizable layouts. Based on data collected from recorders and data loggers, it automatically generates daily, weekly, monthly, and batch reports in print, PDF, or Excel formats. RF10 can also generate reports by combining recorded data with production information from PLCs, significantly improving reporting efficiency while reducing manual effort.

Generate Standard Reports
Standard reports use a fixed layout based on the print format of Universal Viewer, the standard software for Yokogawa recorders. Reports can be generated easily without the need to create templates, making them ideal for quickly reviewing trend waveforms and recorded data.
Users can select from the following four output triggers to meet their operational requirements.
- Immediate:
Generates a report immediately after a new data file is acquired. - Interval:
Generates reports automatically at user-defined intervals from 1 to 24 hours. - Weekly:
Generates reports on a specified day of the week and time by consolidating data from multiple files collected during the specified period. - Monthly:
Generates reports based on a specified date and time each month, consolidating data from multiple files collected during the specified period.
Various types of reports can be generated, including trend waveforms, recorded data lists, alarm lists, and message lists.

Generate Custom Reports
Custom reports allow you to freely define report layouts and output items. Because reports can be designed to closely match existing report formats, RF10 enables automated report generation without requiring significant changes to existing workflows. By automatically generating reports tailored to process and equipment operating conditions, RF10 streamlines the creation of process records and test reports.
The following report types are available to suit different application requirements.
- [Daily Custom] [Hour + Daily] [Daily + Weekly] [Daily + Monthly]:
Generates reports at a specified time by consolidating data from multiple files collected during the selected period. - [Batch]:
Generates a separate report for each data file. - [Batch Report (Threshold) ]:
Even when a data file contains multiple batch processes, RF10 can generate separate reports for each batch by applying user-defined split conditions.
Example Report: Heat Treatment

- In addition to trend waveforms, numeric data such as per-minute and per-hour are output in a list format
- Recorder alarm and message information can be added along with date and time.
- In addition to free text, you can insert image data such as the person in charge/approver field and the company logo
Example Report: Sterilization Process

- Import production information stored on a PLC or other device as recorder batch text and apply it to the report
- Various Excel functions can be incorporated into the report template
Example Report: Sterilization Process
When combined with the elapsed time calculation function of the SMARTDAC+ Paperless Recorder, you can automate the measurement and entry of sterilization time, which previously required manual verification based on waveform data from chart paper. You can automatically create custom reports that include trend waveforms, sterilization time, and F-values.

Automate File Conversion
By automatically converting binary recorded data to Excel/CSV format, you can use your existing analysis and reporting tools as is. Plus, you can easily link data with other systems.
Streamline routine tasks by automating manual conversion operations that used to be performed with free viewer software (Universal Viewer).

Flexible Export Options
You can automatically export each newly acquired data file immediately or consolidate data from multiple files collected during a specified period into a single output file. You can also export manually to process multiple data files at once.
Centrally Manage Report Generation and File Export Tasks
Standard reports, custom reports, and exports can be configured and managed as independent output tasks. RF10 supports up to 200 output tasks, and each task can be executed or stopped individually, providing the flexibility to accommodate a wide range of operational requirements.

Data Acquisition via FTP
RF10 supports both FTP and FTPS for the automatic collection of data files from recorders and data loggers. FTPS uses SSL/TLS encryption to ensure secure data transfer. Depending on operational requirements, you can choose between FTP server and FTP client modes.
Ready-to-Use FTP Server Functionality
Data files can be automatically transferred from recorders and data loggers to RF10 as soon as they are generated. RF10 is designed to work with the built-in FTP server provided by Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) on Windows.
Automatic FTP Server Configuration
RF10 can automatically configure the IIS FTP server by simply entering the required settings during installation. This eliminates the need for manual FTP server setup in Windows, enabling quick and easy deployment.
Flexible FTP Client Functionality
By using recorders and data loggers as FTP servers, RF10 automatically collects data files according to predefined settings through its built-in FTP client functionality.
Manage Up to 200 FTP Client Configurations
- Supports up to 200 FTP client configurations, enabling data acquisition from as many as 200 recorders and data loggers.
- Each configuration task can be individually assigned its own data source and destination folder.
- In addition to scheduled data acquisition at 10-minute intervals, RF10 can automatically retrieve up to two months of previously uncollected data files when the PC starts up. This eliminates the need for continuous PC operation and enables on-demand data collection.

Security and Operational Management
Built-in authentication and audit trail functions help ensure secure system operation and maintain traceability.
Secure Operation with User Authentication
Credential-based user authentication helps ensure secure operation by restricting access to authorized users only. Only registered users can change settings or start and stop tasks.
Centrally Managed Audit Trail
RF10 records operation history, configuration changes, operational logs, and error information in an audit trail. Users can search, view, and filter audit trail records using specified criteria, and export the results in CSV format. This supports audit readiness and helps ensure traceability.

Target Devices and Files
RF10 supports report generation and file conversion for data files from the following recorders and data loggers.
