MES Developer/Engineer (Manufacturing Execution Systems) - P1037

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Perform high level technical analysis activities, such as requirements gathering and gap analysis of user requirements
  • Define MES solution architectures and develops detailed design specifications
  • Define functional requirements through client interviews, documentation analysis and Work Flow Process Mapping
  • Provide expert knowledge and experience to estimate the technical effort required to implement complex MES solutions
  • Responsible for technical deliverables during the entire lifecycle of MES solution development projects
  • Actively participate on a technical project team, ensuring that effective relationships are built and maintained
  • Proactively engage with customers in order to define the overall technical approach for MES solutions
  • Maintain technical skills and knowledge continuously updating them
  • Proactively report on project progress against schedule
  • Manage and report on adjustments to scope, schedule, and issues
  • Participate in strategic and tactical planning sessions
  • Assist existing customers in problem resolution and help define future opportunities with those customers. Provide Sure Service support to clients under contract.

Qualification and Experience :

  • Bachelors Eng./Comp Science or minimum 5 years industry experience in software development, programming, or engineering discipline
  • Minimum 3 years' experience designing or implementing MES applications (Manufacturing Execution Systems)
  • Must be willing and able to travel throughout the Middle East region
    Experience with SQL programming and databases
  • Experience in building client/server applications, Web Services

Proposal & Sales Engineer – Solution Sales - P2038

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Preparation of proposals for all basic solutions covered under PSC viz. APC, PIMS, OTS, AMS, NWS, etc.
  • Respond to client queries and requests in timely fashion.
  • Liaise with sub-vendors for proposal and technology updates.
  • Interface to internal Yokogawa teams during bidding stages.
  • Use strong technical knowledge, primary product line or vertical industry solution available to satisfy customers' needs.
  • Prepare/coordinate remote presentations for the client via Web-conference.
  • Able to do demos on relevant technologies and tools.
  • Keep updated with the relevant technology developing inside and outside Yokogawa.
  • Be a team player through team work, team learning and information sharing.

Qualification and Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation / Electronics / Chemical Engineering
  • 5 - 6 years of experience in Sales with certain years in Solution Sales preferable.
  • Experience on Yokogawa / Equivalent Solutions preferable

 

OTS Group Leader - P2039

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • The Process Modeling Specialist principal role is to lead initiatives to develop process models and apply model-based control technology for an Operator Training Simulators environment in manufacturing process capability and performance.
  • Candidate should have experience and capability to develop process models for flow path analysis and design, analysis of manufacturing problems, and for on-line applications to improve process yield and quality;
  • Process Simulation based on Yokogawa in-house product (OmegaLand) in projects executed in Middle East regions.
  • Technical definition and leading the delivery and engineering (validation/integration/testing/documentation/training)
  • Writing specifications, design approach and documents, understanding unit operations and representing them in models.
  • Coordinating and supporting the activities of the multinational engineering team with the project manager.

Qualification and Experience :

  • Bachelor degree in Control/Chemical Engineering is a must, master/graduate degree preferred.
  • At least 10 years' experience in OTS industry and 2 years of consultancy experience (i.e. DynSIM, HYSIS etc).
  • Approximately 50% travel.

Qualification and Experience:

  • candidate should have 5 to 7 years of  sales-related experience within the oil & gas industry and a good understanding of process control instruments.
  • Should be well-versed with all kinds of flow-meters, pressure and level transmitters with hands-on experience on sizing calculations, design and trouble-shooting, and adept in communication protocols.
  • Demonstrated, excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and multi-task in order to meet deadlines
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite of applications

 

SALES ENGINEER –SP1032

  • Minimum of 5 years exposure to oil and gas projects, preferably with a minimum of 2 years as a scheduler planner on Primavera P3 planning software.
  • Should be well-versed with all kinds of flow-meters, pressure and level transmitters with hands-on experience on sizing calculations, design and trouble-shooting, and adept in communication protocols.
  • Demonstrated, excellent oral and written communication skills.

ANALYZER ENGINEER-RP1051

Qualification and Experience:

  • Candidates should be B.E. or B.Tech. degree qualified, specialized in Electronics/Instrumentation/Chemical Engineering.
  • With minimum 3 years experience in the design, engineering, startup, commissioning, maintenance and training on a diverse range of analyzers, and Process Gas Chromatographs in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical industry.
  • Must be fully conversant with the process applications, and able to design appropriate sampling systems, Trouble-shoot and resolve complex problems.

 

FIELD INSTRUMENT ENGINEER-RP1041

Qualification and Experience:

  • Candidates should be B.E. or B. Tech. degree-qualified, specialized in Electronics/Instrumentation.
  • with minimum 5 years experience in the design, startup, commissioning, service and training on Field Instruments (FF & Hybrid) used in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical industry.

PLANNING ENGINEER –EB0013/13

  • Project Baseline is set up therefore initial training/handover will be given.

 

LEAD PROJECT ENGINEER-EB0023/13

  • Minimum of 3 years in a project management position/environment with project life cycle and project management best practices. Member of PMI or APM.

 

ADVANCE PROCESS CONTROL (APC) CONSULTANT-EB0043/13-

  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years work experience in the related field.
  • Degree in Chemical Engineering.
  • Ability to identify potential areas and benefits for applying Advanced Process Control for various process units and specify the hardware/software architecture to carry out implementation.

  • Carry out APC & MVC implementations starting from Control Definition, Functional Specifications, Detailed Engineering, Plant Testing, Modeling, Integration and Commissioning.

  • Multiple project co-ordination and provision of technical and managerial support for the successful completion of large APC & MVC projects for various process units, as well as the ability to lead a team of APC consultants.

  • Provide advisory and maintenance support including carrying out modifications to the control strategies to ensure higher up time and carry out the required training of plant operators in the use of APC.

  • To have commissioned APC Controllers in refining, petrochemical and polymer process units.

Project Engineer – SCADA Solutions – EB0103/13

Engineering graduate with 4 to 7 years experience in Industry and proven track record in project and system engineering functions related to SCADA and RTU applications. He should have a sound technical background of SCADA architecture and also should be well versed in interface protocols and networking standards.

 

OTS Engineer - P1009  

  • A Degree in Chemical Engineering.
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in the dynamic simulation of oil and gas, refinery and chemical processes.

Network Security Applications Engineer - P-2030

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • The Network Security engineer principal role is to lead initiatives to design and implement Cyber security architecture onto the manufacturing environment.
  • Candidate should have experience and capability to test 3rd party devices on CENTUM DCS environment;
  • Complying to network security guideline specifications, design approach and documents, for project implementation
  • Supporting the activities of the multinational engineering team with the project manager.

Qualification and Experience :

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering is a must (master/graduate degree preferred).
  • Engineer Level: At least 8 years' experience in IT industry and 2 years of Leading project experience Approximately 50% travel.
  • Lead Level: At least 12 years' experience in IT industry and 5 years of Leading project experience Approximately 20% travel.
  • Knowledge of atleast one of the following areas with relevant certifications
    • System - Windows OS, Anti-Virus, NMS, SIEM, Active Directory switches is preferred.

 

Senior PIMS Engineer - P-2031

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Design of PIMS systems, including network, computer hardware, software specification and configuration of selected software products, and code module implementation
  • Installation, configuration and testing of Yokogawa products and selected 3 party vendor software products, including Windows operating systems
  • Generation of project lifecycle documentation
  • Delivery of customer support and product training as required

Qualification and Experience :

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in an process control, engineering, operation or system integration role
  • Have strong communications skills, both written and oral
  • Specific industry certifications are not explicitly required but will be viewed favorably.

 

PIMS Group Leader - P-2032

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Must have worked in industrial automation industry as a Plant Information Management System (PIMS) engineer with experience in control system, interfacing methodologies especially with OPC compliant devices and industrial networking methodologies.
  • Demonstrate experience with OSI PI historian software, including PI tags and PI ACE Programing and process book programming.

Qualification and Experience :

  • B-Engineering or higher engineering degree is a must.
  • At least 10 years of relevant PIMS engineering experience such as Exaquantum and OSI PI
  • Strong understanding of Oil and Gas Business process

  • Development of sales leads/pipeline following Yokogawa sales and pipeline development/update processes via client visits and solution campaign within YMA region.
  • Update/manage sales pipeline via regular pipeline meeting and Sales-call.
  • Use strong technical knowledge, primary product line or vertical industry solution available to satisfy customers' needs.
  • Prepare proposal for respective solutions.
  • Prepare/present technical presentations for campaigns, proposal and client visits.
