| Q |
What are the YTA310/320? |
| A |
The YTA310/320 are temperature transmitters used for high accuracy measurement applications. They are calibrated at the factory for highly accurate input and output. |
|
| Q |
What is the measurement principle of the YTA310/320? |
| A |
When a thermocouple is used, the YTA310/320 measure the electromotive force and terminal block temperature, and use the electromotive force data to calculate the temperature. When an RTD is used, the YTA310/320 pass a very small electric current through the RTD to measure electrical resistance. Based on the relationship between resistance and temperature, they then calculates the temperature. |
|
| Q |
What are the advantages of the YTA310/320? |
| A |
The YTA310/320 are highly accurate, highly reliable, and SIL2 compliant. |
|
| Q |
When should I order the YTA310? How about the YTA320? |
| A |
For a FOUNDATION™ fieldbus application, select the YTA320. When BRAIN or HART communication is required, select the YTA310 for single input and the YTA320 for dual input. |
|
| Q |
Are there any reference materials for the YTA310/320? |
| A |
Catalogs, general specifications, and drawings can be downloaded from our website.

| Q&A for the product |
| Q |
What is the sensor matching function (Pt100) for the YTA310/320? |
| A |
This function improves temperature conversion accuracy by setting a Pt100 specific constant in the transmitter. |
|
| Q |
Can one of the YTA320’s dual inputs be used for backup purposes? |
| A |
Yes. The YTA320 supports a sensor backup function that switches output from the first sensor signal to the second sensor signal. |
