The input range setting (1-5 V range) has a low cut setting item, but what does that mean?

Low cut means to cut out anything less than 0% of the recording span. For example since the error is large when measuring small quantities of flow on an orifice flow meter or other device, this function prevents any impossible negative values from occurring. You can set a low cut on transmitters, converters, and recorders. On the µR10000/µR20000, anything less than 0% is fixed at 0%.
