Infrared Gas Analyzer IR800G, IR810G

Responding to a Wide Range of Needs from Environmental Issues to Combustion Control

Simultaneous Measurement of Up to Five Components

In recent years, environmental measurement has become increasingly important from the perspective of SDGs and carbon neutrality, and measurement accuracy standards are becoming more stringent every year.
The IR800 series is the most suitable analyzer for CEMS (Continuous Emission Monitoring System) and can meet the environmental regulations of various countries. It can also be used to manage process combustion for efficient control.

Yokogawa has been selling gas analyzers for environmental measurement since 1971, and continues to develop and improve them based on its many years of experience and achievements. The highly reliable IR800 series contributes to environmentally conscious factories by making their operations easier to measure.

The IR800 infrared gas analyzer can measure concentrations O2 and up to 4 other components (NO, SO2, CO, CO2, CH4) in a sample gas using a non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) method. And as environmental regulations are becoming stricter, we have achieved stable measurement with less drift.

Our Active Zero-Drift Cancellation Mechanism achieves stable measurement of low concentrations, which are traditionally difficult to measure. It also includes Engineering/ASI functions—no need to add them separately.

Solve Gas Measurement Challenges

An Active Zero-drift Cancellation Mechanism is Key to Stable Long-Term Measurement

By alternately measuring the sample gas and a reference gas, the zero point is constantly corrected and the measurement drift caused by cell contamination can be canceled to maintain accurate measurements.

Easy Maintenance

One-touch Calibration
You can open the calibration menu directly from the display, which also clearly shows the measured components during calibration.

Automatic Blowback
Digital contacts can be opened and closed for blowback, and the blowback period and other parameters can be changed from the screen without engineering. Remote operation is also available to ensure that optimal operations are always performed according to the customer's conditions.

Automatic Validation
Validation can be performed using calibration gases. With available System or Analyzer validation,  measured values are recorded to help you determine the optimal maintenance window.

What is CEMS?

CEMS (Continuous Emission Monitoring System) is a measurement system for monitoring exhaust gas from factories and other sources. Implementing CEMS with the IR800 series meets these needs:

  • Demand for CEMS due to increased awareness of environmental problems and stricter laws and regulations.
  • Minimal installation and maintenance costs.
  • Detailed operations to minimize the risk of downtime and anomalies, and to improve maintenance and operational efficiency.

Wide Range of Applications

Our sampling technology and systems are optimized for a wide range of applications, from environmental solutions to research on next-generation energy.

  • All industries: CEMS, combustion management of various boilers
  • Petroleum, petrochemicals and chemicals: Gas measurements in furnaces and other facilities
  • Steel: Measurement of lime kiln, CDQ circulating gas, blast furnace top gas and converter recovery gas
  • Ceramics: Gas measurement in parts of cement kilns
  • Others: Gas measurements at biogas plants, in fuel cells, and plant research facilities
