Application for a Time Proportioning Output Converter

The UTAdvanced Digital Indicating Controller comes standard with ladder sequence function. The ladder sequence function can handle measured and computed values from the controller. Using this function, the UTAdvanced converts outputs from other controllers such as YS1500 to time proportioning outputs.

This is easy to achieve by setting up the ladder program below on the UTAdvanced (it is not necessary to enter settings for PID and other parameters, and you can simply set output type parameters to voltage pulse output.)

Note that when conversion to current output is required, you can set the output type parameters to current output.

And for the display section, since you can turn OFF the SP value and status display sections (e.g.: AUTO/MAN and R/L displays) on the UTAdvanced, you can create a simpler display that only shows the indicated value.

  • Mid-level UT55A/UT52A

The UT55A and UT52A temperature controllers employ an easy-to-read, 14-segment large color LCD display, along with navigation keys, thus greatly increasing the monitoring and operating capabilities. A ladder sequence function is included as standard. The short depth of the controller helps save instrument panel space. The UT55A/UT52A also support open networks such as Ethernet communication.
