Gas Chromatograph AI Maintenance Support (GCAI) is a data monitoring software for our GC8000 process gas analyzer.
Using the measurement data of GC8000(s) connected to our analyzer server software (PCAS), "unusual“ measurement conditions can be detected and visualized in real-time. The system helps you predict malfunctions in advance for preventative maintenance scheduling, and quickly address immediate problems.
It also predicts the future resolution state of measured peaks to help optimize column replacement timing.

AI-based real-time monitoring and predictive detection of chromatograms
Using the measurement data of GC8000(s) connected to our analyzer server software (PCAS), “unusual“ measurement conditions can be detected as anomalies by the machine learning model built within GCAI and visualized in real-time.
This machine learning model can be easily built by simply selecting the normal chromatogram data of the GC8000 to be used as a reference. Since the model employs a unique detection algorithm for each chromatogram, it can be adapted to a wide variety of measurement specifications. Users can input and record the causes of detected anomalies.
Historical anomaly frequencies can be analyzed by cause to aid in preventative maintenance planning.
Support preventive maintenance with Resolution prediction
GCAI visualizes the transition of the resolution state of measured component peaks through monitoring. Resolution predictions are displayed by 1 day, 30 day, and 90 day intervals based on the separation trends to date. The user is notified when the predicted value falls below a predefined tolerance. Optimization of maintenance plans, such as parts and column replacement, can be predicted in accordance with the transition of the separation state of the measured peaks.

During this period, please refer to the checklist in the Installation and license Guide (TI 11B06H01-01) to confirm that the GC8000 in operation is suitable for monitoring by GCAI.

Note that the trial period only extends 3 months, so please be sure to complete the purchasing procedure before the trail expires if you wish to continue receiving the benefits of GCAI. Without this step, the software will automatically deactivate at the end of the trial window.
