Covid-19: Yokogawa Australia & New Zealand's Response

As the situation with COVID-19 continues to evolve, Yokogawa is always committed to supporting the safety and health of those impacted. We continue to monitor and react to the ever changing and escalating situation.

Whilst we are minimising non-essential contact and travel throughout the crisis period, we have extensive online collaboration capabilities for our employees to communicate with each other, and with you. All our contact numbers and regular email and web enquiry portals continue to be serviced by those working remotely and in accordance with our Business Continuity Plan.

Yokogawa is fully integrated within the essential services businesses throughout our region and are actively providing services, solutions and products to the industries including but not limited to food and beverage, water and wastewater, pulp and paper, power and energy, pharmaceutical, chemical, oil and gas and resources.

We understand that in this time of crisis, it is vital that we make it possible for your to continue your operations and assist you in responding to the needs of your business. We have been supporting our partners and customers for decades, keeping vital industries safe and sustainable and we will continue this work through the current crisis.

  • At present, our facilities in Japan, Singapore and China are operating normally having adapted quickly from earlier restrictions and our European facilities continue to operate as normal.
     
  • Our international logistics chain is facing operational restrictions due to the reduced cubic capacity of air freight as passenger aircraft are grounded. This is currently resulting in longer transit times. Domestic freight is less affected but as States close borders, this will inevitably cause some delays.
     
  • We hold significant stock of our major product lines and have placed additional orders to secure future stock.
     
  • Our Service and Sales teams are available to visit customer sites whilst adhering to all local, regional and national travel restrictions, especially with regard to social distancing and are able to provide onsite where requested.
